Alexandra Mortati — known as Azie — is the VP of Marketing for Orlando Foods, an Italian food importing company started by her great-grandfather.

Almost five years ago, Azie launched Women in Pizza with her friend and colleague Casey Derk, as a grassroots social movement that has evolved into a non-profit celebrating the strength, resilience, and impactful stories of extraordinary women in the pizza industry.

"In a world where gender equality is a constant pursuit, I wanted to create something that would become a beacon of inspiration, embodying the spirit of change. Join me in growing a movement that gives voice to the under-represented female segment of pizzaioli and inspires more women to follow their pizza passion."
