Samantha Bandy first moved to Las Vegas from California to go to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she got her degree in Meeting and Event Management. Pizza was not the original plan. She started her career in the restaurant industry on the Las Vegas Strip back in 2013. Throughout her career, she has been a host, server and corporate trainer, opening restaurants all over the country. With all of that experience, she had the opportunity to manage a restaurant in Denver, but after almost a year, she realized Las Vegas was her home. After managing the Golden Tiki for a couple of years, she had the opportunity to work at Evel Pie. This is where her pizza journey began.
Samantha has helped take a small local pizza shop and grow it into a true destination known all over the world. She has been instrumental in some of Evel Pie's biggest promotion, such as the World's Hottest Reaper Pizza Challenge. One of the most successful programs Samantha has been a part of is the Charity Slice program, where Evel Pie partners with different organizations to help raise thousands of dollars that help a variety of causes. "I am so thankful to work for a company that allows us to help our community through pizza. Pizza is a great way to bring people together and we found a way to support our community with what we do best: making the best pizza possible."
While Samantha has managed at Evel Pie, they has won multiple awards from "Best Pizza in Las Vegas" to "Top 100 Pizza Spots" in the United States. "Being the General Manager at Evel Pie has been such a special journey that has shown me how pizza is so much more than just food. It's a science. It's an art. It's a passion. The way pizza can bring people together is truly magical."
